Thakulestryxx

"...And so, willed forth by our great mother, dragons soared through the skies, great wyrms carried by great wings through the blistering hot air as fire scorched the heavens themselves. Greatest of these was the leviathan Thakulestryxx, a being so massive that mountains trembled in his wake. By the mighty wyrmfather's command, the great sky-serpents halted the advance of the storm, Naradun's skies once again returning to a tranquil blue as the fire died out on their whim."

- Excert from the Libram of Myths Volume III

The fabled dragon father, herald of Gai-Tentotu. Thakulestryxx is a being considered by most to be nothing but myth, as no one still alive today can ever recall having witnessed any sign of dragons ever soaring through the skies of Naradun. Rumored to be the only mortal beings to directly serve Gai-Tentotu's direct commands, dragonkin are said to dwell deep beneath the earth all over Naradun, only to emerge when the world itself is in peril.

Thakulestryxx is, according to myth, the first dragon ever born, and clearly the strongest, wisest and largest of them all. Ancient legends speak of his gargantuan shape blocking out the sun as he soared through the skies during the apocalypse in the past, and tales of the past would have it his mighty voice caused earthquakes as he spoke. He, along with his wyrmkin, were according to religious history the beings who saved the entire world from annihilation caused by the champions of light and darkness and Naar's meddling. Many, perhaps all lesser dragons, fell to the overwhelming chaotic storms raging across the continents at the time, which would undoubtedly explain their absence in modern times.

Thakulestryxx is rumored to have aided Narkhun and Kurveldross in the final battle against the chaos demon Smergh though, and that without him, the outcome of the battle could have been entirely different. Neither Kurveldross or Narkhun have confirmed this. Then again they have not denied it.

If the ancient tomes of religious history are to be believed, Thakulestryxx at some point buried himself somewhere in the western continent, believed to slumber underneath great mountains in case Smergh should at any point break free from his eternal prison.

Like other dragons though, Thakulestryxx is worldwide discarded as nothing but a bedtime story. It has been far too long since the apocalypse for anyone to remember, and the written word descending from that time is subject to doubt and disbelief. It is written though, in the holiest of books on all continents, that dragons indeed did exist, and are to thank for halting the apocalypse, thus providing the new generations of mortals with hope for a future.

Talystryhne

"...And from the deformed shape that was Smergh's beaten form, a great ball of fire emerged, unleashed with such force that neither champion had any hope of halting its path. A drawn-out scream echoed throughout the great caverns as a descendant of chaos was born in the orb of molten fire, then hurtled across the continents to a place where no man dare thread. 'My daughter shall free me. Be it hundreds, thousands or tens of thousands of years.' the great demon Smergh bellowed as he was bound in chains of light and darkness unified, his chaotic form to be forever concealed beneath the sands in which he built his lair."

- Excert from the Libram of Myths Volume III

Talystryhne, princess of chaos, daughter of Smergh. Rumored to be a creature born of pure flames, legend has it that somewhere in the world of mortals, she awaits the time when the chains that bind her father's ever-changing shape to the sands of Eluth. It is said that when that time comes, she shall unleash upon the world unending scores of twisted, mutated beings that once were the physical shells of mortals, changed beyond recognition by the vile powers of pure chaos. Once she has defeated the champion of light, she will then break the chains binding her father to the sands, then unleash yet another apocalypse upon the world.

She is depicted as a shapely female humanoid made of molten rock, shrouded with flames of all colors imaginable. The very air around her is said to catch fire as she moves, the intense heat radiating from her body instantly incinerating anything she comes near. Talystryhne is also said to be in possession of the unpredictable power of sorcery, constantly emitting wave upon wave of pure chaotic energy, changing and mutating anything even remotely close to her.

Despite these signs which would make her quite easy to track, no one has ever come across a location that could even remind of her domain. She is believed, like the dragons, to be nothing but a bedtime story. Despite this, she is mentioned in the holy writings of pretty much every religion, and priests of the order of Law warn people daily of the eternal foe of Order, Talystryhne, at the current believed to be the greatest threat to the world itself by those who acknowledge her existence.
