Here's where you should post your character(s), and their current state (alive, dead etc).


What you should include is the character's name, age, gender, and any other info you can possibly think of. Background stories, physical appearance, everything you feel like sharing about your character. Also it would be swell to state which Storyline the character participates/has participated in (assuming it is in fact, in a thread yet).

Will post a sample when I get the time.

NEW: We have decided to put up a crude stat sheet on the site in order to get a better look at the strenghts and weaknesses of the participants' characters. Note that we ain't rolling dice or anything like in DnD (The GM might do it if he feels it's needed in order to determine random outcomes etc of course <.<), but rather find out whether or not the character in question will be able to do this and that by looking at these here sheets and comparing them to the current situation. Brief explanation of how to determine scores: An average human has 10 on all scores. 1 is the lowest, 30 is the highest. If a character has 30 in strenght for example, that character would have the strenght of a giant. If at 1, he'd not be able to stand up. Note that you may exceed 30 in a stat on rare occasion, but you'll havee to provide a VERY good reason for it.

IMPORTANT: We are aware of the fact that many, many stats will change during the RPs. It would be great if you updated the post about your character when a stat changes dramatically, so that we may use it as reference in the future as well. Very Happy

ALSO IMPORTANT: Please do note down your character's alignment along with the basic facts (name, gender etc), as knowing your character's alignment is in some cases important for the GM, among other things.

CHARACTER STATS

Strenght (How strong your character is physically):

Dexterity (How agile, quick and nimble your character is):

Stamina (How much beating your character can take, how much he/she can endure before becoming exhausted etc.):


Intelligence (How smart your character is, how good at memorizing things, ability to cast wizard spells and total wizard mana pool):

Arcane Potency (Sorcerer only, mages rely on intellect. How powerful the wild arcana in your sorcerer's veins is):

Willpower (How resistant your character is to mind-affecting spells and effects, how strong his/her mind is, will to go on, faith and so on. Crucial to priests, clerics, druids and other casters who rely on faith to cast their spells. This also determines a sorcerer's ability to control his/her spells.):

Luck (How lucky your character is. Lady fortuna is with you? Or are you constantly followed by black clouds?):

Charisma (Your character's personal magnetism, charm and likeability among most people, how socially adept they are, their ability to discern lies, sense one's motive, to lie etc.):

Special Skills (Something your character is good at. Make up your own skills if your character has one, but make sure not to overdo it. Max for a "normal" character is 30, like all other stats. Examples of special skills include: Marksmanship, different schools of magic (not clerical, they're under willpower always), balance, seamanship, riding, different kinds of crafting, pretty much everything not included in the stats above):

All'right, here follows a description of my character, Lainiel!

Name: Lainiel Silverleaf
Age: 352
Race: Elf
Gender: Female
Profession: Druid
Specialties: Mute
Current RP: Isle of Gods. Finished.
Humble Beginnings

Appearance: Average Elven woman, only a bit short. She can be considered slightly ‘ugly’ compared to most other Elves, her ears not in proportion; they’re just a bit too long and floppy, her nose is just a little bit too small, her feet a little bit too big, etc. This makes her look quite laughable at times and she appears generally clumsy. The last part proves to be false, however, for those who have seen Lainiel hunting, fighting or anything alike.
Lainiel has emerald eyes, her pupils a little reminding of those of cats. Her blonde hair just reaches her shoulder and looks like it’s not really taken care of.
Just like any other Elf, Lainiel has tattoos all over her body. The right side of her face is covered with a purple tattoo of a butterfly. A tattoo of a sun is on her left hand palm and a moon on the other. The rest of her body seems to have a large tattoo of a tree, its branches covering her arms and the roots her legs.
Lainiel’s usually dressed in light-weighted leather. She’s armed with two little daggers and a thick wooden stick, three quarters the size of her own body, which she usually carries on her back.

Background

Lainiel has lived most of her life on the outskirts of Elven civilisation, in a small Elven town on the edge of a typical Elvish wood, not too far away from the capital. For all her life, she had lived there, between the other Elves who misunderstood her. Inside her mind, Lainiel was half Elf, half animal. At some times she thought as an animal, at other times as an Elf. Because of this she never learned to speak which proves to be a serious handicap. This very disability caused Lainiel to be the black sheep of the family and town she lived in. After three hundred and fifty-two years Lainiel decided that she had enough of being among those who did not respect her difference. So she decided to leave and travel across the world, wherever it was going to take her, wherever her final destination was.

Description
Tukol is a night gremlin, short of height and bald. He has the traditional yellow gleaming eyes of his kin, seems like a quite laid-back and relaxed person, quite cynical and selfish, but not directly evil. Many tend to thin of Tukol as uncaring and at times heartless because of his mostly self-centered way of thinking. They might be right.

More often than not clad in traditional Hun'var clothing, a grey coat which covers most of his body, with lots and lots of pockets on the inside, providing excellent room for hidden weapons, reagents and the likes. Strapped on his back is a most unusual weapon, a piece of equipment so far only constructable seasoned night gremlin artificiers; a Quillfire Crossbow. Constructed much like any other crossbow, with the exception of a very uniquely constructed loading mechanism which allows the wielder to put several bolts in it at once, thus firing a volley of bolts rather than single shots followed by a reload.

On either side of his waist there dangles a dagger, along with assorted trinkets and doodads like purses of black powder, dynamite, spanners and the likes. Despite his profession as both a mercenary and freelancing engineer, all of his equipment seems to be quite well cared for, his coat rarely even dirty.

Brief Biography
Tukol was born and raised in the underground city of Thinya, where he spent most of his childhood and younger days. He was a member of a quite regular Hun'var family, not rich, not poor. His mother and father were both builders, working within the field of construction and maintenance of housing. Tukol himself had always had a passion for making smaller, yet more complicated things. He quickly came to terms with his love for engineering when he first witnessed the fabled Artificier's Hall of Thinya, where all the most important inventions of the Hun'var were put out on display.

Tukol was at the age of 20 enlisted into the Hun'var military order as a field engineer, specializing in the creation of black powder explosives. He was quickly recognized for his skill, and much to his dismay, he was transfered to the human lands as an emissary, tasked to train eager foreigners in the arts of engineering. He missed his underground birthplace, but he remained loyal to his orders, and carried on with his work for several years. However, some years ago, he was fired, as the Hun'var Artificier's guild of Virum stopped receiving its monthly payment for reasons unknown. Tukol traveled to the gates of Thinya only to find them shut, and when trying to gain entrance into his ancient home, he was met with naught but silence from the massive stone doors. It was as if the entire city was deserted. Tukol reasoned he would not regain entry, and, puzzled with all this, he used his engineering skills where they earned him the most coin in these foreign parts; Mercenary work.

For two years now, he has journeyed across the countryside, offering his services to those with the proper coin. The increased distrust towards his kin has made life challenging, but not impossible. Now he seeks only to make a living for himself in this world, and a little excitement is not unwelcome along the way.

Born as the third child of a prosperous noble family in the city of Thalder, Inette always had a knack for adventure, and quickly grew bored of the peaceful city in which she spent her childhood. She was a very boyish girl throughout her childhood, and though she had the opportunity time and again to live a normal life, she wouldn't have any of it. She was always up to something, more often than not reckless stunts, performing dares including but not restricted to jumping from rooftop to rooftop, throwing rotten fruit at patrolling guards and chasing cattle out on the fields, ruining the crops. Many citizens of Thalder breathed out in relief as the vile girl finally came of age, and immediately left in pursuit of grander things. She quickly learned of the dangers of the world, as she was lured astray and ambushed by highwaymen shortly after her departure. She was spared though, and though villainous of nature, the bandits let her go once they had robbed her of her valuables.

She worked a year or so at an outlying farm to save up enough money to restock, so that she was once again ready for adventuring. Her passion for exploration did not die with her humiliating first adventure, and as soon as she was equipped, she journeyed across the countryside until she came across a backwater vilalge, where she joined the local militia and helped keep the surrounding area safe for a year or two. She quickly became bored once again though, and once again roamed the realms. Now a more experienced fighter, she offers a blade where needed, and quite a lot of attitude where it's not needed at all.

Inette is of average height, with short black hair and brown eyes. The occasional scar dots her body, but she's not lacking any limbs as of yet! She's mostly clad in a huge brown coat, and her weapon of choice is a rather large two-handed sword strapped on her back at most times. She also wears a pointy brown leather hat most of the time, and it seems quite important to her for some reason. She's a quite high-spirited and generally friendly person, although a fair bit reckless and abit too carefree. She's serious when needed though, and has been taught the arts of survival through experience alone, rather than drills and lecture.

Description
A tall bulky Northerner, Thorbrand stands at the great height of 11/12 feet, giant blood flowing trough his veins. With hands the size of an average mans head. Scars covering most of his chest with a few in his face, some hidden under his beard that is blood red in colour.

He has very few features from the giants, aside from his size and strength, his nose is fairly big. His hair is long, unruly with a few braids, but is often covered by his helmet. His armour is made out of animal fur and chain armour and is his usual clothing. He may look intimidating, but is often very cheerful with or without alcohol in his body. Around his neck hangs a horn, Thorbrands most valuable possession.

Description: Khakena is a night gremlin, about average height, average width, but with a not-so average look on her face. Her eyes, unlike those of the common night gremlin, glow with a ghastly pale color, and they're surrounded by black rings with what appears to be tear-shaped lines running down from them. Her hair is also nearly snowy white. These traits identify her as a necromancer, a vile mage who has sold her soul to Thlak, god of the dead, in return for his gifts. She's dressed in an ornamental grey robe with silver trimming most of the time, and a black book, also trimmed with silver is strapped to her belt. In a small scabard on the other side of the belt is a dagger of bone.

Appearance: This Nunoki has the looks of what one could imagine a nordic soldier to have. Only a tad more..dead. His eyes glow green and his body is covered in scares. His long purple-ish hair reaches down his neck and to his shoulders. He is rather muscular, shoulders broad and thies wide. He has sharpened yellow teeth and his nose isn't quite straight. Neither be it small nor big. His jaw seems to be slightly croocked, as of the result of a heavy impact to it. For a nunoki, his body looks quite intact, except for the scars.
His height is about 1,90 meters, and he weighs 123 kg.
Overall a rather large Nunoki.

Appearance:
Half-Elf boy, looks to be 16 and seriously underfed. His back covered in scars from whips, the rest of his body covered in tattoos that change from time to time.
His most used clothes so far is garments worn by most slaves.


Background

In Nya, there was a village.
In this village, they belived in the purging of magic.
Into this village was born a child called Sarracen, a result of fornication, belived to be of rape. His mother died in labor, and his fosterfather was to take care of him.
From early age the child showed magical aptitude, and at the age of 3 his father locked him into a cage.
Sarracen was punished severly from then on.
He would have lost his mind if not for his brother and sister, the only people showing him some sort of kindness.
This dance continued to his sixteenth birthday, when he escaped.
With help from his sister he got out of the cage and into a nearby forest where he lost control of his power, suddenly appearing on a ship half a world away...

Description

Kazragore is a human barbarian. He's is a very massive and brutish creature, stout and powerful. He is monstrous in appearance. He is slightly taller than other humans because of his powerful body. He is very muscular, with a broad chest and shoulders, and he has strength not just in his body but in his mind as well. He has a broad, flat nose, tusk-like teeth jutting from his lower and upper jaws like a bear. His eyecolor is fierce orange. He has long dark-brown hair, and his long beard is tide in three thick ornate braids. He favor clothes of fur and steel. He has tribal tattoos on the chest and arms, one burn-marked line that goes down his forehead, over his left eye and stops on the chin that were made in a tribal warrior-ritual of manhood, and he also has scars from blades and claws everywhere on his body after many battles.

Background

Kazragore hails from the kingdom of Turokhal. Born and raised on Mount Khalur, in the ancient fortress of Khalur's Keep, the capital of the near-legendary Death Hammer tribe. Kazragore were born with the aspects of an bear spirit. He used his bear-strength and resilience to become a relentless barbarian with immense combat prowess, that's preferring raw strength. He had been fighting since he could stand, fighting, not just practicing, and often to the death, so he could have a sheer depth of experience like the other successful barbarians of the tribe. When he was a teenager, he was trained by the Warlord himself for decades in combat, tactics, pain tolerance and discipline, to charge into battles wielding sharp axes, to sweep into the civilized countries, reaving and slaying. He still remained undefeated on the fields of battle. He became a dual-wielding fury of combat, a majestic warrior.

Kazragore suddenly refused to follow the orders of the tribe, preferring instead to strive as a individual. He also carried many terrible burdens. After slaying a warrior tribesman he met on his journeys, he became cursed by a witch doctor from the same tribe. The curse slightly mutated him so he became sterile and also emotionless, except his anger. His history became long and bitter, knowing that his tribe back home were in danger, since a new threat were raising in Mount Khalur. Kazragore returned to his home, discovering that the enemies had attacked and killed almost the whole tribe and the Warlord had become corrupted by dark magic. Sorrowfully, he had to end the Warlord’s life, and free him from the madness. Before the Warlord’s death, he thanked Kazragore and granted him leadership over the leftovers of the Death Hammer tribe. Kazragore were honored, but his tribe had already died out anyway, and his soul were scarred by his experience. Deeply troubled by what he had happened with his own tribe, he left the land of Turokhal, trying to forget everything he had experienced. After some time, traveled into Rindor. He started to wander the wilderness on a never-ending adventure. He still tries to bury his hate and anger from the past, and tries to control it, use it to make him stronger. He is searching for a life that is not only about war and killing. Now he has a legacy of beer, blood, booze, and thunder, of red-glinting axes and crushing hammers.

Appearance:
White mask witout mouth. Long blond, wavy hair. Blood-red coat with silver buttons.
White blouse with a black vest and black pants + blood-red boots with silver trimmings.

Background:
Most of it is unknown since she doesn't talk much. What is know is that something really
bad happened to her once which is still affecting her. She met up with her friend and "boss"
Rosarch, at age 10 and she has hanged around him ever since.

Special:
Doesn't talk vocally, uses a special sign language that only a few people know

Description:

Xylaa likes to wear outfits that have extremely Arvelian ( is that the right term?) traits. Dark blues and purples, adorned with patterns and gems from her home country.
Her body is lithe and frail with the indigenous blue glowing eyes, typical of the Arvel race.

Brief Biography:

Born into an aristocratic family in the capital city of Arveldross, Xylaa had all the benefits of such an upbringing. The wealth needed to provide the best of everything from clothes, and friends to material objects and most importantly good education.
Having discovered from a young age a talent for Frost magic, she then dedicated her life to its study, her blood-blooded parents more than willing to get her the best scholars and teachers money could buy.

This went on for most of her adolescent life, learning and practising the Ice Arts. Though she was never one to judge where such information came from, having the others of the upper class look down there noses when she sought knowledge from those of the 'lesser races'. Her family passed it of as juvenile delinquency, and were begrudgingly wiling to let them pass as such.

Eventually she developed into a great scholar of the arts herself, her own tutorage well sought by others of her kind, and she offered her tutelage to anyone of any race. Her bloods nobility allowing her to overcharge on most occasion, leading to a very cushy existence. She continued to learn some of the most difficult spells as she matured, including the ever ellusive and ever pricey frost orb, and from that knowledge crafting a quirky and unstable weapon.

Just as life seemed as though it couldn't get much better she made a fatal mistake. In her vast curiosity of the world outside the frosty confines of Arvelaar, she struck up a deal. In exchange for knowledge. scrolls and rare items from across the land she would teach a single human wizard everything she knew, from basic cantrips right up to the most difficult in craftsman ship, the frost orb.

Considering the sundered relationship between Arvel and the Humans of Thak, this was the tip of the iceberg that caused her family to rage. Being cast out of the families good name and frowned upon by the city in which most knew or had heard rumors of her 'accursed hot land cohorts'.

Now with a new assumed name, she travels the lands. In search of knowledge rather than letting it come to her as it did in the past.

She gets along quite well in other lands, using her Arvel qualities and 'uniqueness' to her own ends. Tantalizing groups with tall stories and displays of arcana along with her natural wit and charm, she manages to be a memorable character. Xylaa is quite at home in many situations, be it working as part of a group of mercenaries, Hawking her skills to the highest bidder, or just entertaining the masses at a local tavern. Just like the playful frost sprits Xylaa claims to be decedent of, she always manages to pool her resources to get through.

( Still needs work me thinks, annnd I wrote too much, sorry! ;_; )

Rosarch looks to be a normal half-elf. Average height and weight, blue eyes and fair skin. If he passed you on the street, you might not remember exactly what he looked like. Unless he talked to you, that is. If he did, you would remember a calm and soothing voice... A voice to trust and pay attention to, and then you would remember him. His honest face, that strange accent you couldn't quite place, and the kind eyes. He doesn't walk around like this often though, he prefers his disguises. And who knows what he looks like then.

Background
Rosarch grew up in a carnivale, a freak show, amongst other things. and as such he moved around alot, learned a lot of dialects, and met people from all layers of society. he learned to disguise himself to mock power figures in plays, and how to behave so people would trust him. He learned to gamble and to cheat, how to rig a game so noone could win and how to impress people with simple tricks. The year Rosarch turned thirty, the carnivale was destroyed. A local lawman thought that his bribe was to small for a man of his standards and shut them down, arrested most of the people working there and set fire to the wagons and tents. Rosarch and a handfull of others got away, but made sure to get their revenge before leaving the village. Within a week of his deeds, the lawman had lost his hand gambling with nobles, his reputation was destroyed due to servants spreading evil rumors, his job lost when someone tipped off his superior about the bribes he recieved and where to find them. Rosarch then turned to travelling by himself, as a wonderworker. He visited countless villages as Medicine Max, inventor of the ultimate cure. Claiming that "a little sip will cure you of anything" he only ever sold them to rich people, mostly because he would enjoy the way they paid good money for bad moonshine with a tad of colour added.
The last twelve years he has worked for the Virum Thieves Guild as a con-man and negotiator of sorts.
He picked up Sheerza about a year after he joined the guild, from the ruins of a botched job another thieves guild had pulled. In spite of him being a lying, thieving bastard... he also seems to be the only one Sheerza trusts, and therefore he has seen to it that she got training.

Neratharn appears as a dark knight. He has a special armor that is nearly shaped like a steel skeleton that has been forged around the dark knight, so it looks like the bones are on the outside. His shoulders and his chest is shaped like a large skull. He hides his armor behind a large black robe that covers almost his entire body. He also has a sword with a brutal, with spiky form with runes and other markings, and the shaft is shaped like a demonic hand that holds around sword-blade. He has wrinkles around the mouth and eyes. That's why his smile looks very disturbing and evil.

Background

In the gray, dark land of Vaaminer, a child was born. The place he was born was a dead, rotten forest, filled with undeads and other dark creatures. The father of the child were killed by mysterious cloaked men at that night, the same as the mother after the birth of the child. The dark-cloaked priests had planned the murders a long time, and now that the child was born, it was time for their god, Thlak, to get a new worshipper. Thlak was the dark god of undeath, known by the many. The evil priests called the child Neratharn, which meant "born in darkness". Neratharn was marked with a symbol of a skull with an arrow trodden through it, the arrow containing four spikes pointing downwards on his arm, the symbol of the lord of the undead. The priests taught Neratharn that the ultimate goal was for death to consume the entire world, that all life should be extinguished, so that the entire surface of Naradun is dead and barren. Neratharn were raised to become a heartless, merciless and cruel person. He looked at life as a pest, which must be extinguished. He wanted to believe that any living being is an enemy of a servant of Thlak. Neratharn was slowly but surely more familiar with the art of necromancy, and realized how powerful it was. He decided that one day he would give Thlak his soul in exchange for dread necromantic powers. One day he got the urge to travel from his birthplace in the east, and travel to the west in order to learn more about the world, but still with Thlak as his deity of worship. He knew well that worship Thlak was strictly prohibited in the west, so he had to keep his faith hidden. The priests who raised Neratharn had the task of spreading the faith about Thlak out in the world, so their task was now to find a new fresh blood. Neratharn had sold his soul to Thlak, in return he became the world’s first Death Knight. He now rides into Rindor in the quest to learn more about it.

Background:
He grew up in Valesburg with his mother and father. He grew up as any other boy, played with the other children during his childhood. When he grew older he went to school with the other children, in which he did very well. He never seemed to do anything out of the ordinary, never got into any fights. Of course we're not counting his training, as he also trained while being in school. Learning to fence and wrestle and such. He was rather succesfull there aswell.
But even though Patrick looked charmy and had a gifted tongue, he never seemed to have much of an interest for the opposite sex. No of course he wasn't into men, that wouldn't fit such an normal young lad. Neither did he seem to have any close friends. Sure he was popular and almost everyone seemed to like him. But you never saw him leave school with anyone unless they were taking the same route somewhere. But then again perhaps his father was his closest friend, as they spend alot of time togheter when they could. His father worked as a prison guard. He enjoyed his job, and was good at it.
At the age of 17 Patrick's mother died after falling down some stone stairs. Patrick recovered from the tragic event quickly. Allthough he seemed rather down for about two months after his mother's passing.
When Patrick's education was over, at the age of 20, he started working as a butcher. Not what one would expect from someone with such a good education, but he enjoyed it.
When Patrick turned 21 , on the very same day, his father died. He was murdered by a man still missing. The guards were sure they'd find him but he just went out in the blue. In difference to his reaction over his mother's death, he didn't seem all too sad over this. Sure he was gloomy and all that, but never shed a tear or even took a day off from work.
Patrick is now the owner of his own butcher shop, a very succesfull one. Even still with his rather brutal job, the women liked him as they always have. He was always the nice, charming Patrick.
Never doing anything out of the ordinary.

Appearance: Dyra looks scarily much alike to a doll. Has very white skin-colour to indicate her status, long and gracious black hair. She’s usually dressed in fancy and richly ornamented robes or gowns. Like the usual woman of her status, a kilo of jewelry is present (Silver necklaces, golden rings with pieces of diamond fit in). The only thing that makes her stand out from a doll is the amount of make-up. Black lips, dark-violet eyeliner and layer after layer of other make-up paints her face a rainbow of shady and mystic colours. Not to mention all the nail polish applied, usually black or pink.
Dyra is averagely short. There is little else to describe, except for the fact that she’s clearly a noble. Not only in ways of dressing, but also acting and behaving. Talking. She’s quite obviously ‘well-fed’ although not ‘fat’. Dyra, however, often spends a lot of time on examining if this is really the truth. After hours and hours of watching the mirror into oblivion, she often finds that her waist is not as thin as she would have liked it to be.

Background: Dyra is born in powerful and wealthy family, one that holds quite some control in her local city. Her father is a priest of Theki and expects his daughter to be his successor. Dyra does not very much agree with her father’s anticipation on the future. Little else is worthy of being told, except for that she’s rich and that for some reason she’s out on the streets now, wandering, and not home in the magnificent villa that has been her family’s for generations.

Lucien was raised to be a survivor. His life has been long, but he would see it last forever. In his time he has seen much death and, being responsible for much of it, he figures that if he lives forever he could protect his family from extinction. Lucien has spent most of his life in the Jungles, visiting cities only to stay somewhat sane. Description: Battlehungry, Kaar always looks for a fight he can win, he can resist the primal urge to fight even though he becomes grumpy if he feels he has to withstand from a fight, the only kind of fight he can not resist is when beverage is involved as price. The only language Kaar speaks fluent is Orc, but he still knows some key words in common to help him trough most conversations, but now that he is in the mor siviliced lands he is desperately looking for comerades to speak his mind for him, so that he does not need to learn a new language.

Brief history: As mentioned, a short time ago Kaar was once in the lucurative position as Clan drunk, and enjoyed his life, he had the respect of the other patrons, but his luck turned in the course of one night and when he awoke next morning, far from the usual place he used to wake up. bewildered as he was he managed to not return to the clan but went down the mountain and came upon a world he never before had seen, with a reality so boring existing he thought it was his god given mission to bring chaos and slaughter to the cities of the civiliced world. this goal faded fast when he tasted the beverages in the taverns, soon he was just a drunk again, a drunk without any way of communicating with the everyday people.

Appearance: Borum is a tall, well-built son of the North. Seeing his face will immediately tell you that he's experienced and knows what he's doing. Long, brown hair goes down to his shoulders, the color giving the impression that it is dirty, which it probably is. But it is also his hair color.
A nicely shaved beard is present on his face, well-groomed compaired to his hair.
His shoulders are broad and his arms are heavily scarred. If one were to see him undressed, more scares would reveal themselves.
He is usually clad in Southerner armor, strange as it may seem.

Appearance: Raeran is a slightly tall man, with half-long, sleek and brown hair and a full beard. He’s got blue eyes, a crooked nose and thick, fuzzy eyebrows. He’s usually dressed in green-dyed leather armour that is light-weighted and gives perfect camouflage. A yew bow is strapped to his back together with a quiver. A with jewels ornamented (and stolen) short-sword hangs on his side, as well as a more sober looking dagger.
Note: Before he became a fugitive, he had shorter hair and not a beard. The growth of more hair is a little trick to escape unwanted attention.

Background: Little special is present in Raeran’s background. He grew up in a small market town several scores of miles south of the capitol. He lived as a farmer, but practiced his archery a lot. Thus, he built up a talent that got him into the professional Rindorian army at the age of sixteen. Since he was sixteen, he trained more, and more, and more in the barracks of Virum. Not too long after he started on his first missions. They were never –really- special and dangerous, usually involving fighting of bands of brigands or Theshi.
His latest campaign involved a series of battles against hardened armies of Theshi in the North. On this campaign, an event came to pass that changed the young man’s life and future.
